Pedro Moraleda García de los Huertos
Pedro Moraleda joins Olleros Abogados in 2013 as Of Counsel responsible for energy. General Director of OME (Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’Energie) from 2009 to 2012, the industry association based in Paris gathering the major energy companies from 24 Mediterranean countries.
Previously, he was Chairman of the International Gas Union’s (IGU) Strategy Committee and representative of the Spanish industry in other international associations as Director of International Relations at Gas Natural and Enagas, and Marketing Director at Repsol. He has also had 10-year professional experience in the commercial and marketing areas of the automotive industry.
He has led in-depth studies on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and natural gas for the European Commission and for the IGU respectively, and publications for OME on energy perspectives for different Mediterranean countries. He regularly contributes to regulatory forums, including the Madrid Gas Forum, and to international conferences on energy.
Currently, Pedro Moraleda is an independent energy analyst advising companies and institutions on regulation, geopolitics and economy of the energy.
